Hey there Bloggers everywhere!!!!

I don't know why I haven't been on here in about a month. Just been not in the blogmood..... It seems that I try to get a thought going and then, it leaves.(sort of like the sunshine we had last week, now we have mushy snow). That is my brain, mushy snow. I can't seem to concentrate on anything! Even reading and TV seem hard at times, and I get so frustrated with facebook, I want to scream!!! so excuse me for a moment.........AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I'm back now...Eating, now that is another story. I seem to be able to concentrate on that. LOL! I can think of food, eat food, imagine food, conjure up ideas about food, you would think I'd be a great chef! But, no....my thoughts are only thoughts. The flour and the sugar still sit there, the eggs are still in the fridge, my mind is still on autopilot, and my arm keeps bending at the wrist. I havent gained any weight, actually maybe lost a few pounds. Being in a town with NO FAST FOOD will do that to you!!! Its amazing that you don't realize what you eat, until you move to the wilderness. No Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, El Pollo Loco, McDs, Burger King. I know them all intimately. But, I only get to visit them on occasion, when we go to the BIG CITY! Hmmphf! Seriously, though..I do cook for my husband, make his lunches, bake scrumptuous desserts and enjoy trying new recipes. But lately, my entire concentration of anything, has been completely kaput!

I was reading Eat, Pray, Love and Ms. Gilbert is talking about her time living in Italy. With all the gelato, pasta, wines, etc...and you begin to salivate. She says she gained weight while she was there, and that one of her friends dubbed her trip as the "no carb left behind tour". I laughed out loud to myself. That is exactly how I feel. I love sweets, but lots of my desire now, lays in salt. (LAYS, in salt ~ get it, potato chips?) LOL, sorry I couldn't help it.

We were going back to Longview to visit family, and I had heard they had a new Indian restaurant in town. So, I said that Indian, Chinese, and Mexican, oh yes, can't forget seafood would be part of our visit home. I could call it my "around the world in 48 hours tour".

Well, I am signing off, in my best Julia Child voice, "Bon appetit!"
