Today I saw a bear, a little bear away out there........

That old camp song, each verse is repeated by the group as the leader sings "The other day (repeat), I saw a bear (repeat) a great big bear (repeat) away up there (repeat) then they would sing the whole verse together. Well this goes on for a few verses...Today, my own song, was in harmony. You see, I had an instant, everthing happened in a flash! I saw a bear, over there, wasn't far, the length of a car! My pets and I were enjoying a lovely Montana afternoon. Just getting coffee made (we get up late, as hubby works night shift, and I have been graced with the ability to "shift" my hours to the same schedule. As I was saying, we, the 2 dogs and a cat were sitting in the sun. Hubby had not made it out yet, but all of a sudden, I saw a brown animal running towards me..first I thought it was a brown dog that sometimes comes to visit, but had an unusual gait for a dog, then as it got closer, I realized it was a BEAR! I ran to grab the cat, and the two dogs, I told to go in the house, they all did, easily. Usually the dogs see something before I do, and would be chasing it. Fortunately this time they did not, as I was able to get wonderful pictures with my camera in time! By the time the bear was close enough to take pictures, it was less than 15 feet away from me! It was a boar small about 2 yrs old we thought, cute little thing. I guess, story has it, that it was scouting out the garage sale up the road...(Isn't that what everyone does on a weekend day?) LOL! Last spring, we had a bear, this time a 300 lb black that came and got into our garbage, one night while I was taking the dogs out for their "business", and it was less than 75 ft from me, but in the dark of the night, at 2 in the morning, where out here there are no street lights, or any other neighbors close by to have their lights on the road, its glowing orange eyes in the light of my flashlight, I will never forget. I was still amazed at that sight, and been waiting and wishing and praying that I would see one, right in front of me. I have been talking about it just recently, thinking about it, probably dreaming about it! And today, just an ordinary Saturday, became an extra-ordinary day, with a bear, walking by, my house....I got my pictures, and was grinning from ear to ear, said my hubby! I was having the best day, plus it was 71 degrees, such a perfect day for a picture...Here is my picture of the day....it was pretty amazing!
