I just had a thought and a few minutes, so this picture reminded me of something. The Bible says that "YHVH's Shabbat (Seventh Day Sabbath) and His Feast days, are a "shadow of things to come".
This pic and the shadow of the trees and the snow and the dogs, reminded me of that verse. The serenity of this picture, is so amazing, the background of the trees, and the snow, glittering and white. Lot like Heaven may be, the tall and the short, the big and the small, all standing together in YHVH's presence. My dogs are such sweet spirits and loving and gentle...that is what Shabbat is like. Kind, gentle, loving peaceful, tranquil, quiet, serene, thought provoking, fun....and unfortunately, I am not around other "Hebrew Roots" folks here, so having the "same impact" of the Holy Days, isn't quite the same when you are a party of 1 or 2. But, in our neck of the woods, we do everything quite differently than if we were around others of our thought process and beliefs. But I do believe that our being around and celebrating Shabbat and Feast Days of the Bible, isnt too far away....the shadow of things to come.
