Pain ~ in the morning, in the evening, ain't we got fun?

Every morning I wake up slowly to the tune of pain. All through my body, shoulders and back and knees and hips. Sometimes my head aches, when I raise my head my shoulders and head ache.
It takes me more than 15 minutes to open my eyes and wake up, it takes me more than another 15 to get my meds taken, sit up, stand up and get up. My full morning routine takes over an hour, and that is just getting up and going to the bathroom and getting coffee. We haven't even started with getting dressed. Or getting ready to go out of the house. Some days I keep low key on dress, pain is just unreal. I just can't do anything more than one thing at a time, just typing little things like this, will make my elbows and hand/wrists start to hurt. I take pain pills that are managed by my physician. I take them every day morning and evening, and some days it isn't enough! I am at the federal limit of taking them, and can't take more due to liver issues...So trying to do all I can "naturally" to make things better and easier.

I am not complaining, but its important to share with others those of us that have issues. Maybe through my sharing, others that have issues or you have a relative with issues, be encouraged!

I have fibromyalgia, reverse slope hearing loss(deaf in one ear besides), Osteoarthritis, and PTSD.(from a car accident that happened over 5 years ago, and it still affects me).

I've heard or seen people say things like, "gee their just lazy", or "I can do that, why can't they", or if a blind person stumbles, they think it amusing,or asking a waiter to repeat himself, people get annoyed "Hey! can't you hear?" Or "turn up your hearing aid!" etc... I guess I would say that sometimes we don't know who is listening to us as we speak everyday, at a restaurant, on a cell phone in public, on the internet. Did we hurt someones feelings, or sense of pride and accomplishment? Did we think of "Do unto others as you want them to do unto you?" Did we care at all? The 10 commandments say we are "to love others as we love ourselves" yet, we don't go up to our mirror at home, and say "you are worthless!, you're ears don't work right, OR, you can't walk right without help, you are lazy"! We have all thought them or worse, said them.

I guess sometimes, I have been given wisdom from being on both sides of the fence in many things, not just invisible illness. That is what I consider my strongest strength, Is that I haved lived a lot of things, and travelled quite a bit, have knowledge of many types of things, religions, relationships, peoples, illnesses, and cultures ~ so that helps to make me able to talk and share with someone else, having an issue in any of those areas, as the popular comment goes "I have been there, done that."
