The River with my Rovers.....

Today,  we went to the river with our doggies, Buster and Ru .  We went on the quad, the boys rode in front and I rode in the back of the pick up part! With my legs dangling over the side, when we got to the river, got down and went into the water .  Marty went in too, even getting some of that cold glacier water to wash his face with...It is very cold in the water, but with the sun, it feels really good!  It was so high, and flowing over the rim of the bank, running through the grass fast and furious., muddy and mucky, soft to step on, really wet, leafy reeds, tall hitting my legs as I hold my skirt up not to get it wet! The river is so high that it is taking over our walking path, making the trees sticking out of the water like the Florida swamp lands. The dogs are such wonderful companions, I so enjoy the time we spend together..They love to run in the water, and drink the water, and splash as they run to get the sticks we throw in the river....
