Saving money in the Laundry room

Liquid fabric softener, with sponges in a little container that has a tight lid!

I found this on the Duggar Family(www.DuggarFamily.com)  website a long time ago. I have been using it over a year now, and it works fabulously! No static cling, no fuzzies on clothes, just a fresh clean smell and softness. Plus you can put the sponges back and reuse them over and over again!

1 lg container of any type liquid fabric softener
2 lg sponges (non abrasive type), cutting them in 1/2 to make 4 sponges to fit your container.
1 glass jar, with screw down lid, or in my case, I used a makeup wipes container(baby wipes container works as well), just make sure it stays closed, as it will dry out.
Fill up the container 1/2 water and 1/2 fabric softener, doesn't have to be exact, free pouring is easy to do.
Cut your sponges in 1/2 so you had 2 lg, now you have 4 smaller ones...doesnt matter colors either...
put in container and make sure they get a good soaking in the solution! I use 2 sponges per lg load. and just wring them out a little bit...still kinda wet with solution is best, don't wring all the way out!!!
When drying is done, take the sponges and put them back in the container seal up and they will get wet again with the softener and you can use them again and again until they get too hard to absorb wetness anymore, then just buy new ones step 2 and start again. Really easy and saves money and the environment!
